Why should I renew my PCAA membership?
The Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta has a long history in Alberta and the membership and volunteers that are rallying are working hard to rebuild the Party they want. Polling numbers, donor numbers and growing support says we are still very much alive. In fact, we will retire our campaign debt in March, and since May we have paid down our $1.2million, half of what we had, of our total debt. We invite you to be part of this historic rebuild experience with your renewed membership.
In May 2015 we were spending over $150,000/month to run the Party, we had $2.4million in debt. With the board working hard, the volunteers out raising money and our CAs getting behind our rebuild, we have managed to reduce our monthly operations cost to $17,000, which includes our debt line of credit repayment, and we have reduced our overall debt to $1.2million. Additionally, we are on track to pay off our campaigns debts by March this year.AND, we also managed to run a competitive byelection in the third quarter last year doing far better in the results than pundits and our competition expected. We have come a long way and the PCAA is on track to be healthy once again in early 2016. We invite you to be part of this historic rebuild experience with your renewed membership.
